Welcome to the GovCon Directory feature, designed to streamline your search for government contracting companies. In this guide, we'll walk you through the functionalities and options available within the GovCon Directory.
Navigating the Directory: Upon accessing the GovCon Directory from the left-hand navigation menu, you'll find three primary options:
- Search by Name: Enter the name of the company you're looking for to initiate a search within the search bar provided.
- Explore All Companies: Browse through a comprehensive list of all companies available in the directory by selecting the "Explore Companies" option located under the search bar.
- Apply Filters: Refine your search by applying specific filters, such as location or social economic status. These are located in the left-hand extended menu options. Here you can filter by Entity Name, NAICS code, Socioeconomic Status, Unique Entity ID, Cage / NCAGE, Zip Code, and State/Territory.
Note: for the best results, only apply one filter at a time.
How to Claim and Set Up Your Profile:
- Once you have located your company, you can claim your profile by selecting the "Claim Profile" button, located at the top-right.
Only the Account Admin will have the ability to claim a company profile and make changes to the profile.
- Now that the profile has been claimed, you can add an image by selecting the "Change Logo" button, located in the top-right.
- You can also update the rest of the business information by selecting the "pencil icon" within the page, to edit the company bio, website, location, etc.
- Once a profile is claimed, if the user is a corporate account holder, all users within that corporate account will automatically be added to the company profile under the "People on G2X" section.
