# 🚀 Pipelines: Drive Federal Wins with G2X Pipelines

## Built for BD and Capture teams to organize pursuits, boost PWIN, and keep strategic efforts on track.

### 🏗️ Set Up a Capture-Ready Pipeline in Minutes

*Streamline your process from market research to award.*

1. **Access Pipelines**
   
   Open the **“Pipelines”** tab in the left-hand navigation.
2. **Start a New Pipeline**
   
   Click **“+ New Pipeline”** in the top-right.
3. **Name It with Intent**
   
   Title your pipeline by program, customer, or fiscal year—then hit **“Create.”**
4. **Customize Stages to Match Your Workflow** *(Optional but powerful)*
   
   Click **“Add Stages”** to align with your lifecycle. If you skip this, you’ll default to:
   
     - Market Research
     - Opportunity Identification
     - Qualification
     - Capture Planning
     - Proposal Planning
     - Proposal Development
     - Proposal Submission
     - Negotiation and Award
     - Post-Award Transition
5. **Start Managing**
   
   You’ll be dropped into your pipeline dashboard where you can:
   
     - Monitor value by stage

*Bring in internal targets or live [SAM.gov](http://SAM.gov) opportunities—your way.*

Add opportunities by:

- **Manual Entry** – Ideal for internal leads or strategy-only opps
- **Paste a [SAM.gov](http://SAM.gov) URL** – Auto-fill most fields
- **Upload a CSV** – Bulk import in seconds
- **Select from the G2X Opportunities Database** – Streamline capture planning

**To add from the database:**

1. Go to **Opportunities**
2. Search for your target
3. Click **“Add to Pipeline”**
4. Choose a pipeline or create a new one
5. Confirm with **“Add to Pipeline”**

Click an opportunity name from your pipeline to open its detail view:

- **Critical Details**: Agency, NAICS, RFP ID
- **Strategic Fields**: Role, Workshare %, PWIN
- **Supporting Info**: Submission dates, teammates, notes

From the right-hand panel, you can:

- Assign and manage tasks
- Monitor **real-time PWIN and Workshare visualizations**
- Log **Capture Notes**
- Jump into **Solicitation Details**
- Use **G2X Capture Insights** to bring in protest history, past awards, and related intel

From the Pipelines dashboard, you can:

- See all pipelines you own (or shared ones if you’re on the **Business Plan**)
- Toggle views to fit your tracking style
- Drag-and-drop opps between stages
- Rename or create stages to fit your BD lifecycle

Switch to the **Dashboards tab** for actionable metrics:

- Total Deal Value
- Average PWIN across stages
- Pipeline Health & Distribution

Use **Reports** to export to CSV, and **Tasks** to manage all assigned work in one view.

**Q1: How do I bulk upload opportunities?**

Use the **Import from CSV** feature for fast input.

**Q2: Can I fix a pipeline mistake?**

Yes—remove an opp from one pipeline and re-add it to the right one.

**Q3: How is PWIN calculated?**

You set it manually under **Strategic Fields**—edit it anytime.

**Q4: Can I update opportunity fields later?**

Absolutely. All fields are editable.

**Q5: How do I enrich opportunities with additional insights?**

Use the **Capture Insights** panel inside each opportunity.

**Q6: Why is some data pre-filled?**

We pull in [SAM.gov](http://SAM.gov) details when available—feel free to update them.
